Aniseed biscuits (Guezli)

Ingredients:

  • 4 whole eggs
  • 400 gr icing sugar

Mix eggs and sugar together and beat till colour gets lighter.

Add the following:

  • 250 gr whole almonds
  • 200 gr sultanas
  • 3 tablespoon of aniseed, squashed
  • 350 gr flour

Mix all the above together.
Put in baking tray (covered with baking paper) approx.2 cm thick.
Bake in oven for 30 mins at 160 degrees, preheated.
Cut into bite size pieces whilst still warm and on the tray. The biscuits are getting better day for day.
