sailing4ever – Robin & Iris Ein Segelabenteuer
Slowly but steadily we approach the end of our long list of to do’s, thus the day of our departure.
Prior to this, we have to fly back to Switzerland for a few days to get some admin stuff done. A nice side effect of the unpleasant work is we can combine it with a visit to family
and friends. – Three birthdays fall in these few days, thus again no boredom for us.
At the moment it’s not too bad to leave Portocristo as we have strong winds from the east, thus a rather heavy swell in the harbor.
We are lucky to have three mooring lines which keep us well away from the mole. Again we see that the harbor is not really pleasant or recommendable if there are strong winds from north east, east and south east.
While we are away the guys have to do some repairs of the repairs, but we hope that everything is well under control when we are back.
This time on Mallorca ‚ waiting‘ got a new face, which was not too pleasant. – But today even the new genaker and the new cockpit cover arrive, so that we are almost ready for take-off.
The upcoming 6 to 8 weeks we will sail within the Balearic Islands in order to test carefully all repairs and new installations. Afterwards we still don’t know in which direction we will sail. This year not only the mind but also the plans are free…

Wir haben nur eine Super Maramu aber sind schon seit 1995 mit einer AMEL Yacht unterwegs. Gestartet habe ich mit einer Euros im 1976 und da hat mich der Amel Virus gepackt. Das ist der beste Virus den man haben kann. Meine Frau Ruth und ich sind regelmässige Leser von Euren Blogs in der Amelgroup. Vielleichht sieht man sich einmal.

Gerne verfolgen wir ab jetzt auch Eure Abenteuer und bleiben gerne in Kontakt. Die Seglerwelt ist ja bekanntlich sehr klein, so dass wir uns sicher mal irgendwann und irgendwo begegnen werden.
