Back to Carré d’As

On April 10th we are back on our Carré d’As. Apart from the fact that she got very dirty, everything seems to be fine so far. Her annual wellness program starts on April 15th on the dry dock.

We’re there for the first week when the important things are done, but then we have to go to the Algarve – where we are at the moment.

The Algarve enchanted us already three years ago and we have been toying with purchasing a holiday home or retirement home there ever since. – My dream was always to spend my retirement in a house with a garden in southern Europe close by the sea, now my task was to find an object that would also make Robin dream – and I succeeded  🙂 .

Of course the picture is a bit deceptive, as there is a lot to invest in to get it back in shape. – But this will also be an exciting project for the coming winter, because our sailing period will start again from mid-May.

We don’t want to give up sailing right away, the cottage is just preparation for the next phase of our lives.
